If your diffuser is not misting very strongly: There are a few things that can cause this.

Check your water level. If the water is too full, the mist will not come out strongly. We recommend filling the water slightly below the max fill line.

Make sure the unit is sitting on a hard, flat surface. Do not place it on something soft, like a towel that could absorb the ultrasonic vibrations.

Make sure the unit is not sitting directly under an air vent that may be dispersing the mist.

Make sure it is properly plugged in. If it’s plugged in, and neither the lights nor mist will turn on, make sure there is power coming from your source.

A possible cause may be mineral or oil buildup may cause the unit to stop misting.  See cleaning directions here.

Depending on the motor or fan strength of your diffuser, some noise is normal during operation. If the unit is making a noise that sounds abnormal, please discontinue use and call our Customer Care department at 833-729-4859 or email us at

Cleaning Directions

First, try dropping your water level to about a ½" below the max fill line and then turn on. If your diffuser does not resume normal operation, please proceed to Step 1 followed by Step 2.

To clean, pour enough distilled white vinegar inside the empty water tank to cover the base of the tank. Let soak for 2-3 days. Rinse with warm water (being sure to avoid getting water into the air vent opening at the top of the tank). Take something soft such as a cotton swab or cotton ball and gently wipe up around the ceramic diffusing disc at the bottom of the tank.  Refill with water, making sure the level is noticeably below the max fill indicator to test and see if that fixes the issue.

When adding water, be sure to avoid any water getting into the air vent opening at the top of the water tank. That opening leads directly to the electronics, the unit will not function correctly if they get wet. To be on the safe side, try air drying your unit by removing the top, flipping the base upside-down and letting air dry for at least 48hrs. When you go use again, be mindful of that air vent opening and make sure the water level is noticeably below the max fill indicator when you go to test again.
